Maximiser trophy and buggy experience

Does anyone have a solution to get the “maximiser” trophy? The description is clear, but it is either misleading or the game/trophy is bugged. I understand I need to have all the synergies and a hotel in a neighbourhood, but despite owning multiple of each racket (as many as 10 of each), not all synergies are ticked. On the empire overview it also says I don’t have a hotel when I do and in one instance on the left hand panel the hotel had a green tick while on the right there was no tick and said I needed a hotel - you can only have 1 in a neighbourhood, so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.

in addition to this, I have found this game to be quite buggy which is taking away quite a bit of the enjoyment - a unit will load in when attacking a safehouse at waist height and therefore I can’t do anything so have to reload, the game crashes regularly, I get shot across the map from a sawn-off shotgun behind full cover, etc, etc..

I’d love to hear others’ opinions..

I can explain the missing checkmark on the hotel at least. At the place the hotel isn't checked are the different bonuses listed, created by all those synergies.

The final bonus to that, the hotel bonus, is only unlocked once you got all other synergies. So as long as some synergies aren't unlocked yet, the hotel bonus won't be checkmarked.

 

But as I told you before, the trophy itself is pretty bugged.

In theory it's simple. Fill in the different poker variants (businesses used for one synergy aren't available for a second synergy) and you are good.

But you have no control over what businesses the game draws into the synergies. Like "two pairs" or "full house" as example: you can have a lot of bars, a big surplus too which would make sense to use there as one part of the requirement -  but the game decides your casino's and brothel's look way better at those synergies. The result: you have a lot of bars that aren't used for the synergies, but are suddenly lacking a casino or brothel it might need in your "straight".

 

But once you sell a business, it's sometimes completely revamped, drawing completely different ones into the synergies.

As told you before, my solution was to sell surplus businesses one by one and instead put a different one there - like selling a bar, building a brothel. Selling a bar, building a brewery.

After every change I looked again, what might have changed, and went for the next one to not listed to change into another business.

 

Eventually it unlocked at a point it made the least sense at all:

after selling a business it finally figured that at that exact moment was my balance completely perfect to unlock all synergies and give me the trophy.

 

So, yeah, buggy and random.

Cheers for your input, Jjos. I posted here as I had spent some time fiddling around with rackets, selling and rebuilding and it still didn’t pop so posted here just in case someone had a different idea.

looks like I’ll just continue to buy and sell rackets and hope it pops.

I managed to get it without trying, I hadn’t looked at the trophies.

 

If you’re going for the platinum, chances are you’ll get it along the way.

I just got this trophy. For anyone else that comes across this post and is interested, I was in East Pilsen and had:

10 speakeasies

5 breweries

5 casinos

4 brothels

 

I had all synergies except “straight” (own one of each type of racket - bizarre, I know).

I attacked a thug building and made it a brothel (the 5th) and the maximiser trophy popped.

 

On the empire overview, “straight” still does not have a tick and I am not getting the 200% synergy bonus.
