Goro
Though we’ve been told that Assassin’s Creed III was the end of Desmond’s story, and indeed ACIV features a new present-day player character, he does make a brief appearance in the new title. Spoilers, obviously. http://youtu.be/fTP7hs2gdCs
damon8r351
I was originally against AC4, because the Assassins Creed game series is about Desmond and his ancestors, and I considered the series completed after Desmond's death at the end of AC3. What interested me though was how they were going to present a story with an ancestor of Desmond, since it's made clear in the series continuity that you need their descendent in the Animus in order to view memories of that ancestor, and Desmond's dead. My guess is that the mission in AC3 that has you find pivots to sync Desmond's profile to the cloud has something to do with it. That, and the fact that Aveline's story in AC3: Liberation is presented without anyone in an Animus but playing a game console-like Animus technology. And I want to know what Juno's up to and why Abstergo is up to digging through Edward Kenway's memories.
