Free roam after story? *spoilers*

I've just defused all of blackmasks bombs and I'm about to go after catwoman at the light house area. It says are you sure you want to pursue catwoman you will not be able to return to blackgate.

 

Is there no Free roam to get the collectibles? If so what about the joker presents or penguin hostages trophies? AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Its a 2d side scrolling game. but there are no timed jumps or tricky platforming spots.

I'm disappointed with it. You can tell its another port of a nintendo DS game. I'm hoping the spiderman game is a success for the vita and force rocksteady to make a actual game for the vita and not another lackluster DS port.

There is no real free roam afterwards. you have to play through the game 3 times though if you want the platinum, so just do two playthroughs, after that free roam on the third. (you have to defeat joker last in one playthrough, penguin last in another, and black mask last in another for alternate endings)
