Does trophy progress carry over with save transfer?

For example, if I've done 40 hives on PS4 and then migrate my save to PS5, will the trophy pop after 10 hives?

 

I'd hope so, but seeing as there's no trophy tracking on the PS5 version, it's a tossup

Yes, just be aware that you can't transfer saves backwards, so no going from PS5 to PS4 in hopes of stuff popping in reverse.
