Game has crashed twice during cat and bird chase

And both were during runs through the final area dungeons where I got a good combination of relics and charms.

 

It's been over a year since I've last played and never experienced any crash back then. I have four of the bird's eggs and remember doing the chase before. It might just be an issue on the latest patch or it might be a problem with the final dungeons of the games. I'm not going to go into those portals ever again though so I'm not willing to check earlier levels. Just a warning for anyone still or wanting to play the game.

 

Edit: forgot to mention that the crash happened at the beginning of the room where the narrator is talking about the game of cat and bird before I can even control my character.
