Am I doing something wrong? (Raid mode)

Raid mode has been a bit frustrating for me so far. I've been wanting to come back to this game to finally finish off and plat it, but I'm in the high level 30s on trench and barely doing any damage to things it seems.

 

Is there some trick I'm not getting? I'm going to have some real trouble on abyss I think and the game is practically dead, so I'm probably going to have to do this solo.

If you still need, you can add me but it's weird, there are still quite a few people.

 

 

 In the game, there is a penalty if you play with a weapon level higher than that of your character.

Thanks! I might take you up on that. I haven't had any luck joining anybody's game... Maybe there's something weird with my network settings?

When I search for a game by 'Quick Match', I only find people playing in Chasm, Trench or Abyss (Never the ghost ship or Chaos).

 

If I want to find someone who does the Ghost Ship, I have to go to Custom Match
