10 kills with the KT-4 trophy bugged?

I got more than 10 kills with the KT-4 for the trophy but for some reason it won't pop. I've done this numerous times and it just won't pop.

 

Do I have to have it fully upgraded to get the trophy?

Update: Figured it out.

 

You have to fully upgrade the KT-4 because the trophy is basically bugged. I got the trophy after I did that.

As I just saw this thread the information above is false, all you need to do is get the KT-4 the usual way and do 2 quick charge shots into your horde and the trophy will pop with no issues. So you do not need the upgraded KT-4 but yes it is bugged because you need to use 2 charge shots back to get the timing right, and it's very easy and will pop straight away.
