Trophy Help

This game came out about 6 months ago and there is SUPER limited information on the internet about it. So far, that's not a huge deal as only about 500 people across all regions have played it. BUT that doesn't mean one day this goes on sale for 5 bucks OR is a PS Plus/Now game and droves of people come in looking for help.

As I recently go the platinum, I wanted to pass on the knowledge and save people time going for the platinum.

 

1) Some of the trophy names are mistranslated. They are as follows

a) Horder/Dream Big - Are cumulative, you do not need to "wake up" with that amount of money on your person.

b ) Hardware Master - Setup should be replaced with household value, its the stuff in your home, not your computer. (note, computer hardware does NOT go towards household value).

c) Get them all - Card should be replaced with reactions, they can be found on your phone for which ones are missing and what is needed to collect them.

 

2) There are ALOT of characters but only about 10 matter for trophies, either for story OR for reactions. They are as follows.

a) Aaron, Clara, Dr Ermiguat, Katzia, Adam, & Ziggy are the most important, as they are needed for main story. Ziggy and Katzia are the hardest to find, Ziggy can be found at the beach bar during summer, otherwise wondering around or in one of the shops in the Port district. Katzia is the swamp girl, leave her 2 pieces of food for 3-4 days and she will let you in. When its raining acid, she hangs out next to Leetpoint.

b ) Mr. Alegria, Suzy, Gianni, Edgar, DJfox, and Cassidy are the second most important, as they have reaction cards attached that take awhile and your unlikely to deal with them at any point much naturally. Edgar is very important as his basement is needed to finish the story.

c) Edgar and Katzia's stories are linked, one cannot go much above the other for Hearts, so you'll need them both to be at 5 hearts before you can go into his basement. Katzia will also require you to go into Dr Ermiguat's secret lab, which requires him to be at 4-5 hearts.

 

3) How much people dislike you (the face at the top) doesn't really matter, just try not to be in the red for too long as it'll slow your upward momentum. You can never lose subscribers, so even if they hate you, you'll still move up.

 

4) The game goes on forever and VERY little of the trophies involve events. So don't worry if you miss Playcon, or don't buy the newest game and stream with it, it won't matter. The one exception is Aaron's NTF quest which makes you get two "trends" in one video. Once you see a day with two red trends, go gather them up however you need to and make a video with it. This is super easy when a new console comes out, which is about once every 45 days. Ziggy's NTF quest is also a tad bit confusing, you'll get a trend that has a "newtuber citizen" that is not a main character (for example, gossip, or politician), find them and take a picture, they appear about once a week.

 

5) That being said, there are about 5 sets of "famous youtubers" (such as pewdiepie) that will visit in the first year. It is super important you at least find them, you don't need to complete there quests in one day, but you need to talk to them to start the quest, otherwise they could disappear for a few weeks. They are needed for reaction cards, which are given when you complete there entire quest chain.

 

6) You will need 5mil coins and 3mil subscribers by the end of the game. One should come with the other fairly easily, but as soon as you have both of those you can focus exclusively on any other trophies.

 

7) You get married by having 5 hearts with a person and giving them an engagement ring (bought on the left side of Gianni's store), you can marry anyone, so choose whomever you like.

 

8) You can upgrade your house, move to a different neighborhood, and get your scooter drivers license at city hall (located downtown). Get your scooters license almost immediately as it saves a TON of time (and annoyance) as you run throughout town.

 

9) Last but not least, this game ONLY saves when you sleep and end a day, so if you ever need to quit out of the game, run back home and sleep. The game is also fairly glitchy/buggy, so remember that if this happens towards the end of a day, you'll need to redo everything you did.

 

I didn't feel like writing an entire guide, but wanted to help where I could. I usually remember details on a game for about a year, so feel free to message me with questions if you have any!

Thanks for tips. Just got the plat. As Nameless600 mentioned above, there are a couple of misleading descriptions in the trophies. Nothing is missing. Just be careful that some events happen only in certain seasons.

im stuck on how to get the tinfoil hat. every video says the scientist gives it for his first mission but I didn't get it so is there another mission that gives it?

Sorry. I don't remember how you get it. It has been a year since I played it. But for this hat, you should have it for the delivery to someone else, as part of the mission. So I think you mush have it in order to complete that mission.
