Popular Post visighost
I was a bit confused by the fragmentary information that's available on the game, so I thought I'd offer a roadmap to get to all trophies without too much uncertainty. Time: Exophase is telling me it took me 22.5 hours, but I think I idled quite a bit. I'd say 10-15h? Difficulty: I'd say a 4 or 5, as some of the bosses may prove to be a challenge Playthroughs: 1.5 Difficulty: You can get all trophies on the default difficulty, the only one unlocked from the beginning Roadmap: -Do a full playthrough, defeat Zeus, and choose one of the endings. -Choose CONTINUE (NOT NG+) and you'll respawn at your save before the final boss fight. This means you don't need to back up your save, but... it's never a bad idea to? -Clean up the skill-dependent trophies using the first mission from the hub. A good spot for multi-kills is the first orange bug-spawner. There's an elite mob a little further in the map when needed. -Replay the maps to find all secrets (there's a good video guide out there). -Do as many hub missions as you can in order to get the reward chests and collect some more gems. -Beat Zeus again, and choose the other ending. -Start a NG+, and get to Poseidon to get all the skill upgrades that didn't appear in the first playthrough. -Grind gems on Mission 8 to fully upgrade all skills. Recommended build: -You do you, but if it helps, I played most of the game oscillating between the falchion, short sword, and dual daggers. I focused on the weapon bonuses (DMG, Crit, Health, Speed, Leech, anything related to the skills you use). The shotgun is great for your ranged weapon. You can shoot most enemies once, then finish them up quickly with your melee weapon and regain your ammo. Skill-wise, Restoration (upgraded) is a must. I chose Barrier as my second option, as it can be a life-saver, but less so than healing... Note that you can do a little bit of weapon bonus customizing if you speak to the blacksmith at the end of missions. The first time you speak to him on each mission, he will offer one customization for free. Do NOT pay him for further customization, it's a waste of gems. Trophies: (in the order they're presented on the official list) Bosses: -All are story related. Skill-dependent: -They're all fairly easy to get on Mission 1 - Missions are accessible from the hub when you unlock them in the main map, where they're mostly unavoidable. There is an orange bug-spawning beast near the beginning. Just wait until 5 bugs are out (the max it will spew out, if I recall correctly), and you should be able to get almost all trophies related to skills (there's enough other enemies around to get the 8 needed for Nova). There's also an elite enemy a bit further to get you the Bastion trophy. Story: -All... story-related. Secrets: -None are incredibly hard to find if you stay on the lookout for holes low on walls, floors of a different colour, or walls disappearing into the sky. The in-map tracker also shows secrets in the order they appear on the map, which makes it easier to identify where they could be. You can follow the video guide to mop up the few you may be missing. I recommend killing everything on your way to get precious gems. Collectibles: -All are very much on the main path, except for the Commander Log 3, which is in the Cemetary (DON'T DOUBLE JUMP OVER THE WALL: use the less obvious underground path by breaking the floor). -Note that getting to the Mission bosses also gives you collectibles, but those are not tied to any trophies Mythic items: -You'll start getting mythic (red) items towards the late game, and throughout NG+. When you find one with skills you like, upgrade it completely. Note that you only need to save 5-6000 gold in order to save yourself a bit of grinding at the end - The rest you can spend as you see fit. I think I ended the game with 50k to spare. Skills and upgrades: -The annoying bit. You should be able to fill up the general tree fast enough, but the skill mastery side will take some grinding. -First, note that the upgrades you get in secret rooms won't be enough to get Full Potential. For that, you need to start a NG+. After a while (6th zone I believe), upgrades will start showing. You should get the trophy prior to getting to Poseidon. I personally beat him and went just a bit further to unlock missions, but it's not necessary - you can start grinding elsewhere when Full Potential unlocks. -In order to grind the gems you need for Skill Master, I would recommend doing all hub missions in your first playthrough as the chests you get as a reward give around 300 gems each. They will respawn again on NG+. The most time-efficient grinding is on Mission 8. With a good shotgun, it should take you roughly 2 minutes and give you around 350 gems. You'll need quite a bit to max out all 7 skills. Note that once you're down to the last 2 skills, you can use 5-6000k gold to get all the gems from the main tree back, and pour those into skill upgrades. It should give you enough for 1.5 skills or so. Endings: -After beating the last boss, pick one of the two choices. Choosing Continue afterwards will take you back to your save before the fight. You can go ahead and beat him again, picking the other choice (or follow the roadmap and do some mopping up first). Hope this helps! This was my 1000th completed game and I enjoyed it quite a bit!
