I can't find any recent infos about server status nor any word from the developers. If you care about completion you might want to check the game on an alt account before. There are several trophies tied to the online mode. Servers are up again, I joined their discord but received no response. Given how old the game is, I'd recommend still checking before tackling the online trophies. They can all be earned in a couple hours.
