Want to finish up my plat, but was looking to see if anyone had any advice for the easiest way to beat the final Boss

If you want to grind up your party quickly, head to the Underground Labyrinth and just keep clearing floors. By the time you reach the 30th floor you'll be facing enemies from there onward that are harder than the base game, you'll also have a couple hundred spell stones and tens of thousands worth of gold from picking up drops there. Even if a party member dies they still seem to get experience. You can also leave and continue from the floor you left off at.

Once you get like 3 or more members in the 60's-80's your spells just melt everything you also have a bunch of points to put into spells so you can max out many of the end game ones to their full potential.

 

If you need to play as a lower level character, bringing a level 80 along as a sub works because they do all the heavy lifting. Even if the AI is bad, if all their spells are full screen nukes, they wind up killing everything.
