Connection issues

Does anyone know why it’s near impossible to join someone else’s game or have a friend join yours? I’ve now tried with two people, one of them being in my region. I will try with another one or two people later today but I dare say the co-op is broken. It has you just sit in the lobby “waiting for host” but doesn’t take you into the game with your friend.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was able to play without problems with a friend. We completed several events together.
