zartCORE Posted November 11, 2022 Share Posted November 11, 2022 I have bought the physical edition (CUSA 24899) at release but it seems like the advertised free PS5 upgrade isn't working at this time with the PS4 disc. If that is the case then you need to sign in to an American account to upgrade to the PS5 version. After that you will be able to play the PS5 game using a German account but you need to claim it with an account from the same region as the disc. I already contacted iam8bit and Annapurna on Twitter. iam8bit responded with a suggestion of where to look for it but it wasn't there. Waiting on a new reply which I don't expect until tomorrow since my answer was right before the weekend. Despite what you might expect, the 'USA' in CUSA has nothing do to with it being for US. This was different on PS3 with BLUS/BCUS for US and BLES/BCES for EU.
