Bad Ending 76 + 77

I'm having some major issues getting bad ending 76 and 77 (both labeled The Bomb Explodes in Achi's path), and I could use some help/insight.

 

I'm using the guide/walkthrough on GameFAQ and it's been fantastic. But whenever I try to get these two endings it just skips passed them and goes on to the next bad endings. I've tried resetting the timeline and making little tweaks, but it just does it again. I've even gone back to the beginning of the time block (1800-2000) to no avail.

 

Can anyone explain how they did it? Or point me to a non-confusing guide/walkthrough to get these last two?

I used this walktrough and got all the ending without any problems.
