The cook and the "I and it" trophy

Hi everybody! I discovered this amazing game a bit late, but I really enjoying it.

I have a question about "I and It" trophy. As I am following the guide with its human kills count, I wanted to clear the side mission of Danielle Sho and the cook : (possible spoilers ahead)

Therefore, I didn't kill the cook in the crew quarter because I knew I can find him later hiding in an escape pod.

I found him later indeed. I stunned him and then killed him, however the kill number did not change after that. So my human kill count is less than the count of the guide because of it.

Of course, I reloaded the game a couple of times, but the same issue happened.

Is it just a glitch, or should I consider making a new playthrough to get the "I and It" trophy?

A little late, but I saw you got the plat. Did it work? Did you have to restart?

It didn't work, the trophy did not pop up after finishing the game. So I had to reload an older save, before reaching the crew quarter and play again till the end.
