Help me Please with my inventory

So I am being a collector right now and I am losing spots and I don’t know what to sell and what not to sell. Below is the list of missions I have complete/on and what I have in my inventory. I am trying to have the best weapon in the game however I don’t know what the best weapon is. I am really trying to avoid the internet, Because I want the challenge I just don’t know what I can get rid of or not. I am also trying to get more Metal Shards, as the game is being mean and just giving me 1 for almost every kill

I've also recently started playing this game. I have found that 'Very Rare' weapons/outfits/items (coloured purple in your inventory/merchant's store) are typically the best. The merchants actually tell you what you need to buy the items. Just click on the item you want and it will tell you how man metal shards you need and what special items you need, so you know if you want to keep those items for future purposes or if it is okay to sell. Same goes for crafting. If you want to take into account future items that you might not have seen in store yet, then the safest thing to do is keep items such as hearts and lenses just in case. You definitely want to keep the crystal Braiding; I need to get one of those for a very rare weapon purchase.

 

The best thing to do is collect lots of animal skins and bones so that you can expand you satchels/pouches, which means you can carry more in your inventory. Once I upgraded these few times, I had very few issues of ever running out of space.

 

What I do is sell anything that only has the 'sell for metal shards' as a listed use. Anything that says 'trade with merchant', I keep because it will likely be needed for weapons and outfits. If I have lots of one item (I always have a ton of blaze), then you can either sell or dismantle them to create more space.

I have all the pouches upgrade, so it sounds like that I don't need the bones and skins anymore right?

I don't believe so. Since I haven't completed the game, I can't be 100% certain, but so far, I have not come across any other use for them except upgrading pouches.
