Glitched paragraph?

Hey all, in desperate need of help, I've got all the collectibles and enemy files filled up to mission 11 but I can't seem to unlock paragraph 2 of Death Scythe which is odd because it's not a hard one at all? I tried for like 4 hours over the span of 2 days and gave up, I even resorted to restarting on a new file collecting it all again over the span of 6 hours and it did nothing also. Also tried transferring my save to online storage and back.

Here is the enemy file description -

'Death Scythe: Paragraph 2

As it floats down towards you it should rotate around you quickly, similar to the Sin Scythes before they use their umbrella attack. It seems to only do this when it first encounters you. If you do not get this initially, use the door behind you and then use it again to re-enter the room. Alternatively, you can save then reset and reload to start the Mission again.'

Does anybody have any idea what I could do??

This might be difficulty related. I don't remember exactly since last time I played was a few years ago but I think that's the case.

Figured it out finally! 
You have to face away from him as you die to get a secret death animation! 
All the guides said something different so idk if my games acting a bit funny
