Any tips for king of Kaiju mode?

According to the very few guides I've found they say use Godzilla 20q4 cause he's already stronger than most other kaiju even at lvl 1 I leveled him Abit more but all I'm getting is breath stuff and while he definitely hits harder than the others he still isn't doing enough damage to consistently knock out enemies in a minute or under some take a minute and a half cause they either aren't taking but a sliver of health or I hit them and they fall back far and Godzilla can't charge to them fast enough to keep hitting them before they hit me and stunlock me for precious seconds 

 

Edit: nevermind I got it just had to hit square 3 times then triangle to get the full combo going it could a just been luck but it did the trick
