Question about the DLC content

A little late to the party but I hope someone can help

 

So I just got platinum on the main game after starting with a flip all, and ending with a kill all playthrough (I only saved Vito)

 

I want to go for all the DLC trophies but I can't seem to find the mission prompts anywhere. I read somewhere that you need to have Vito, Cassandra & Burke all alive to be able to start the content. Is that true? Cause I'm dreading to play yet another playthrough to get to that point...

 

I did downgrade to the 1.09 version and played without internet connection, but since people had no issues with glitched DLC trophies in the 1.12 version, I updated it again. Maybe that's the issue?

They should become available after the first sit down with all the underbosses. I don't believe it matters them being alive or not, just as long as you've gotten past that point in the game. 

 

If not, doublecheck that the game is recognizing you have the DLC installed. Check additional content in the pause menu and make sure the DLC is added in there and it should work.

I checked and even tho it said I bought them, I just have to download them again. Guessing that will fix it.

I just wanted to check on this, I platinumed this in 2018 when it was the free PSplus game and won't have my save file. If I wanted to clean up DLC would I have to replay the game to do the DLC? Also, if so how long would a playthrough to get to that point take?
