I'm aiming to get 100% completion of every game I play (not off to a great start I admit, but I fully intend to catch back up on the games I started and never completed). I'm currently working through my large backlog of favourite games, and trying to get Souls platinums for each milestone. ArchdeaconRoyce Posted April 3, 2023 Author Share Posted April 3, 2023 UPDATE: 03/04/2023 Platinum 20 completed: Demon's Souls (AS) for PS3. This one was challenging. Despite completing the previous 2 Demon's Souls stacks a few years back, going into this Japanese language release without remembering too much of the dialogue and item names made for a time consuming slog. Lots of referring to translations, as well as battling with a PS3 controller that's determined to turn the camera left whenever possible made for some solid frustration. Adding to this I'd forgotten how to farm crystal lizards and I spent the best part of the playthrough thinking I'd messed up some of the trophies and would need to do a full NG+ run. In the end I managed to complete this in under 2 weeks, and that was with delaying the platinum pop to make sure it was trophy number 1000. Even with its advanced age I love this game, and am very excited to play the PS5 version when I've managed to save for the console and I get up to that point in my trophy hunting journey.NEXT UP: I'm aiming to clear off some of my uncompleted games, starting with the PS4 version of The Last of Us, followed by The Last of Us 2. I'm not sure if I'll be able to smash through these in one run, because of the Grounded+ runs and the Multiplayer Grind in Last of Us Remastered, but I'll certainly give it a whirl. I might also start chipping through Dragon Quest XI for some easy breezy fun while I battle the insanity of Grounded+. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
