Cannot find Wyrm enemy

Guides say that they’re in the desert areas. I only ever find wyverns. 
 

is there a place where these spawn more commonly? I’ve wandered the deserts for hours!

They should spawn eventually. I found them afterwards when I was trying to get other enemies to spawn. I believe the Basilisk was one such enemy I was trying to spawn and the Wyrms spawned for me along the way.

 

I've even had that with other enemies, like getting a Mindflayer to spawn, where it eventually did where a guide said it would spawn (then later on, a bunch of them spawning when I was trying to get Warmech to spawn). So I would say, just keep trying and it'll eventually get there, just the spawn rates of enemies are annoying to deal with.

Thanks. I found it almost immediately after posting, lol. It was over in the desert to the northwest where the tent guy that sells you the stuff for 40k is located.
