Evil25Illusion
Hi there. I did a quick search on Google today. Yes, the game I Googled was "Resistance 2" for the PlayStation 3. I found a Reddit post that claims the servers have been revived. My question is, can someone confirm that these servers are open-source? If so, we can finally earn the platinum trophy. Here are the two links I found: https://discord.com/invite/J53QpgXT and https://psrewired.com/servers/20174. Thanks.

Popular Post MushuMixLipa
PS Rewired is a group of people who reverse engineer older game servers and get them working again. Sadly because it's not open source if you use them to earn trophies then the site will flag you as a cheater. If you want to earn the trophies again I'd say just go for it at this point. Go enjoy some older games and have fun, the only thing flagging has against you is the leaderboards, which don't mean anything anyway.

Is there anyway It can become open source or is that just impossible?

It's as easy as the developers putting the code onto a public repository like Github but sadly I don't think they're willing to do it. I've spoken to them and I've seen 2 or 3 others explain the situation on this site, everytime they're not willing to do it.
