Time required for Platinum?

Does anyone know the average time required for Platinum? This game seems to have a loop type of gameplay similar to Monster Hunter and those games take a long time to complete. 

 

My copy is arriving sometimes this week.

TrueAchievements is usually the best site for checking trophy completion times. They have a user voted system where only those who have completed the game are allowed to vote. You can also see outliers for speedrunners and casual players in their graphs. Seems you should expect 80 hours at least and that it's more likely to take more than less than 80 hours.

I am 100 hours into the game and still grinding the 300 Kemono Kills, but it's all fun when you are trying to upgrade your weapons and gear.

 

I'm currently at 180 Kemono Kills and planning to hunt those Deeply Volatile Kemonos, which, in my opinion, is an unnecessarily difficult spike in the end game.
