Speedrunning to level 3600 with unused Hero Soul DPS boost?

As unused Hero Souls raise the DPS, wouldn't cashing the right amount of them get you there? I'm talking about banking something around 150k. Or is there something I'm missing here?

150k won't get you very far at all. The health of each enemy increases as the level increases and you need to continuously increase your own damage to match. You'd need a lot more than that to beat the exponential growth.

 

The damage you can acquire by spending them or the return on investment is far greater than the 10% boost each soul gives.

I have taken up the habit of leaving 1 million souls unused.

As an example for me, when I finished, I had 310 trillion souls unused and had probably spent close to triple that levelling the mushroom and idle gold and the hero dps increase one (it’s a skull)

Did you get to level 3600 without Transcending?

god no i transcended twice, i dont think transcedning is required tho, since i only leveled idle boosts by 20 anyway
