Best levelling method?

AC IV is the next game in line once I finish Trine 5,

I played it a long time ago but didn't get to far into (attention span of a gnat and bounced around games) but the multiplayer grind looks a little daunting,

I looked up the best way to level on YouTube and got a few different answers, so I figured I'd just ask here.

Best way is boosting with 7 other people doing domination and taking turns killing. This will net you 20k+ xp a round but the servers are unreliable and it's hard to join a lobby with mates and get a boosting session going. The next best method is solo wolfpack which will net you around 7k xp but it's long and feels slow.

Wolfpack mode gains you 40k per round if you make it all the way thru. Took me a few weeks of grinding to finish level 55 but figuring out how to maximize your kills by doing the objectives is crucial. Having a boosting/partner group will make it go 10x faster.
