8bit cheat code not workin

Hello! Can antell me if the invincible cheat code was patched? I can't activate it no matter what, while the stage select cheat works fine.

Working fine as of today, 30th January 2024.

 

Did you remap your controls? With default controls it's up up down down circle for invincibility. Has to be done at the press start menu

 

I also discovered a second cheat I didn't see mentioned elsewhere: if you remap your controls so jump is X and shoot is square, then do up up down down square at the start menu it'll give you a permanent level 5 gun. This is really useful for hard and normal as it means you won't lose your gun power when getting hit.

I remaped jump back to circle and it worked.
