ippikitako Posted December 25, 2023 Share Posted December 25, 2023 Hi guys, I´ve recently sold a PS5 and got another one. The old one was reset before handing it over to the store. Both however stay visible in the PS App. Is there a way to remove one? See pic. PS5-047 is sold but I can´t remove it. I´ve tried "disconnecting" it and deactivated all my consoles in account management on a PC, but that didn´t work. Works fine for my PS4 and PS3 though, they are no longer visible. The only thing you can do in the app in that sense is "clear cache". I´m thinking the PS5 wasn´t completely reset... Perhaps I worded it wrong. I mean, you should try clearing all the app data, not just the cache. I´m kind of a tech dummy... Also contacted the store where I traded the PS5 and they ensured it´s been formatted. Maybe it´s a bug in the app? I´ll contact Sony helpdesk next.
