ViceDestroyer
Sorry for the noob question. My googling is not helping me here so hopefully someone can answer this definitively. I just got my better half a Sony Xperia Compact Z1. Someone at work suggested that it is possible to tether the phone with my new PS4, so that any videos I have on the phone, can be immediately streamed to the console. I can't get it to work. Has anybody else managed and could explain it to me? Or am I expecting too much?
Ichiban-Hybrid
im not to sure about this but theres an app called skifta that streams it through the dlna to your ps4 without a 3rd party app. hope that helps..
A12
DLNA is still not active. So you would have to find a work around. The only way I know of, involves a pc. I don't know of any media servers that would work on a mobile device.
ViceDestroyer
This app didn't work with the PS4. Even the support site of the app only gave examples for the PS3. It works perfectly with the Xbox One, which is unfortunately not ideal for me. But thanks for the replies.
