2500 point trick on Matterhorn Stadium

I've done this three times now, all above 2500 with the token clearly activated, but it hasn't registered. 

 

Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, any advice?

 

It's my final challenge of the regular campaign!

Good job one getting it done. Yeah this tripped me up a bit too and I finally got it yesterday. The trick is to jump off the wall a bit earlier because the trick token will register your wallride as the trick instead of the grab/flip otherwise.

I had problems with this too. I’d recommend slowing the game to 50% in Assists. Then I got it on first try easily.

Took me way too long to get this, what worked for me was approaching from the right-side, as you look at the token, then jump of before the token and actually start the trick before you touch it. I found if I touched the token then started the grab/spin I couldn't get enough rotations to get a decent score.

The way I did it was to jump before the token, tap the left stick to select your preferred trick (one that needs 2 taps to get a better score), then press square and R1 all before you pass through the trick token.
