SmileSlice Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 As an FYI, I’m playing the digital version, and after I have updated to the newest patch. Pre-patch, I’d stopped at the beginning of Chapter 3, if that makes any difference here. Basically, when running away from The Dark Man and you’re holding the Cross Key for the ladders, the statue you picked it up from will have a prompt to pick it up again. I accidentally interacted with it. Your character will freeze in place, and The Dark Man will stop pursuing you, giving you no option except to reload your save.
