Lucky 8….WHEN???

So I am playing this game for over an hour now and I just want to know when do you reach Speed 8?

Anybody got any tips for this game? I'm struggling

 

 

For the lucky 8 trophy and 5000 points. 

Grab 1 coin, then dodge the next, and keep repeating that strategy until lucky 8(survive 1 minute trophy) and you reach 5000 points. 

Yes your points go slow, but you don't quite need the reflexes of the gods to pull it off. Usually if you blink, your dead going that fast. Once I understood that missing coins makes it easier to live.

Y’all just saved my sanity. I thought I was never gonna get 8 speed. Literally got to like x13 and it’s insanely fast

This trophy is much harder than it should be, it's really really difficult to survive for a whole minute and the game doesn't let you ignore power speed ups, as soon as I get to Speed 11 it's just impossible for me.

The strategy I used was collect two then miss one to keep your speed under control. If you miss too many in a row or the first one it’s game over, but you can miss one after you collect one.
