This doesnt explain how to change the order (think its affection based), but you can tell what the order is right from the start of the Jenova Lifeclinger fight (who joins at what phase etc). ----- CHAPTER 14 FIGHT BREAKDOWN ----- The party indication order that appears on screen as ‘Joined the Party’ at the start of the JENOVA LIFECLINGER fight, informs you who will join you and when. This also indicates the order for the Sephiroth fight! The list will look like this and appears onscreen for a few seconds, be sure you take a screenshot; – JOINED THE PARTY – – Character A (Tifa for me). – Character B (Red XIII for me). – Character C (Yuffie for me). – Character D (Barret for me). – Character E (Cait Sith for me). Cross reference the above order with your own along with the additional information below, then ‘Retry from Before Battle’ and configure your materia now that you know who you will have for the various phases. JENOVA LIFECLINGER BUILD (Some of this materia is slotted ready for Sephiroth) – Cloud only – Rune Blade weapon, Genji Gloves accessory, Fire-MP Absorption, Fire-HP Absorption, Fire-Magic Focus, Fire-Swiftcast, ATB Boost, Enemy Skill, Phoenix summon, Magic Up, Speed Up, First Strike, HP Up, Enemy Parts Damage Up skill, Full Power Magic skill, Magic Attack Power +20 skill, Attack Power +20 skill. – On All except Cloud – HP Up, MP Up, Steadfast Block, Precision Defense Focus. – Tifa only – Kaiser Knuckles weapon, Concentration skill, Martial Arts Mastery skill, Enemy Parts Damage Up skill, Max HP +200 skill. – Red XIII only – Golden Collar weapon, Opening ATB Bonus skill, Invigorating Vengeance skill, Enemy Parts Damage Up skill, Vengeance Gauge Charge Rate Up skill. – Yuffie only – Crystalline Cross weapon, Enhanced Expeditionary Medal (OVERRIDES THE CHARACTER ACCESSORY), Empowerment, Strength Up, Odin summon (OVERRIDES CHARACTER SUMMON), Magic Attack Power +20 skill, Magic Attack Power +20 skill, Altruistic Recovery +10% skill, Max HP +200 skill. – Barret only – Hi-Caliber Rifle weapon, Unflinching Overcharge skill, Overload Overcharge skill, Max HP +200 skill, Opening ATB Bonus skill. – Cait Sith only – Gjallarhorn weapon, Lucky Jockey skill, Opening ATB Bonus skill, Max HP +200 skill, ATB Limit skill. – Character A – Expeditionary Medal accessory, Empowerment, Time, Healing-Magnify, ATB Boost, First Strike, Bahamut Arisen Summon. – Character B – Expeditionary Medal accessory, Healing, Ifrit Summon. – Character C – Expeditionary Medal accessory, Limit Siphon, Barrier-Magnify. – Character D – Expeditionary Medal accessory, Time, Healing, Empowerment, Gilgamesh summon. – Character E – Expeditionary Medal accessory, Healing-Magnify, Kujata summon. Had the same order as you expect Barret and Yuffie were swapped Your strategy worked very fine (expect I gave up using prime mode... I suck at it it seems) I hate when you have redo your gear / materia if you restart Sephiroth phase one... Anyway, thanks a lot Optinoob! Great work as always!
