Got back on MyTeam now that the holo packs are available and trying to clean up all the trophies left in the game mode. Only missing the ball drop game for the True Gamer trophy, I thought it was the prize for winning salary cap but that's a wheel spin. Anyone know a way to get the ball drop this season? or is waiting for another locker code also an option?

The best way to get these games is to go to single player -> challenges -> pick-up. These challenges are divided by difficulty but actually have one of each type of prize game besides the ascension board.

 

Currently the ball drop can be earned by winning a pick-up challenge on Hall of Fame difficulty. I did it yesterday and the team I faced was not too tough - mostly diamonds and lower, even as my team has a few of the free pink diamonds from the last few months + 3 opals.

 

If you do not want to do a pick-up challenge, the only other place you can currently get ball drops is via unlimited...I would do the pick-up challenge haha.

After all these years of play MyTeam I had no idea you could change the difficulty of the pick-up challenges. Going to attempt this very soon, my team is almost all diamonds so with some patience I should be able to knock this out, appreciate it!

The method of obtaining (True Gamer trophy) differs in each season, but there is no huge difference, it is just alternating between the places for obtaining the prizes.

 

For the sixth (current) season:

 

1- Ascension Picks:
* Season Pass (Lvl. 4)
* Salary Cap Online (2,500 Points Needed)
* Unlimited online (5,600 Points Needed)
* Triple Threat Offline (170 wins)
* Triple Threat Online (70 wins)

 

2- Open the Vault:
* Clutch Time Offline (win 1 game)
* Pick-up Challenges (Pro)
* Triple Threat Online (win 1 game)

 

3- Open the Door:
* Pick-up Challenges (Semi-Pro)

 

4- Spin the Wheel:
* Season Pass (Lvl. 37)
* Pick-up Challenges (Superstar)
* Salary Cap Online (win 1 game)
* Clutch Time Online (win 1 game)

 

5- Drop the Ball:
* Pick-up Challenges (Hall of Fame)
* Unlimited online (win 1 game)

 

Maybe there are other ways to get some prizes that I haven't noticed..
