Hey guys, list or link any albums you've been listening to as of late, alongside your thoughts and similar artists if you feel so inclined to do so. :)

My dad recently got me into this band, such a shame that they broke up. Very creative album with a relaxing vibe and some masterful instrumentation.

Rating: 4/5 - Similar artists - Elliott Smith, Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco, Bright Eyes.

Wonderful album by a unique Belgian musician. Easily accessible, and despite me not understanding the majority of what's being said due to all the songs being in French, I have found myself listening to this all summer.

Rating: 4/5 - Similar Artists - I have no idea, but if you like catchy electronic music or foreign rap then this is for you.

Although i've known Sufjan Stevens for several years, it was only up until recently that I became a fan. This album is exceptionally creative and sublime, with Sufjan, himself the composer of each track, playing every single instrument (and trust me, there's a lot of them on here). The lyrical work is genius, with the majority of the tracks telling intriguing stories.

Rating: 5/5 - Similar Artists - Elliott Smith, The Beatles (late period).
