PSXtreme_
Eat Sleep Play, which will shortly ship Twisted Metal, has reportedly laid off eight employees. The Salt Lake City Tribune also reports that co-founder David Jaffe is out and expected to pursue "casual games." http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/07/report-jaffe-leaves-eat-sleep-play-layoffs-hit-developer Didn't see that one coming, but did notice in the latest IGN interview that he was getting tired of working directly for Sony, tired of not being able to control his creations. I wonder how much Sony forcing the online pass for TM made this decision easier?
Christopher
David Jaffe was part of the God of War development, no?

FurryMcMemes
Jaffe is too talented to be constrained by Sony, I'm glad he has done this and hope for future success for him.
civilred1
Have Eat Sleep Play released a game yet, or will Twisted Metal be their first?
Fsck It
Eat Sleep Play also just did a big round of layoffs and said that they were going to change their direction to be a mobile games developer. So it doesn't surprise me really that he's leaving.
