Sugestion User Awards

So I was thinking that users should have a chance to show off their achievements on the site with some badges or something like that. (I'll call them badges for now) The badges can be displayed below the users name in the forums and on their forum profile. They can look like little squares with pictures on them. There can be some for posting a certain number of posts, getting guides published,  completing boosting sessions, donating, and other stuff. What do you guys think?

Anyways, they talk about the sticker system in those threads, but I think I remember hearing that there was some reason as to why they weren't ultimately added to the site.
