NotAFoxAnymore
If someone else has already posted about this then let me know, and I'll lock this. Basically my memory card filled up last night while installing a game update, I was too tired to deal with it so I just turned off the Vita and went to sleep. Fast forward to now and when I turn it on I get a message saying I need to format the memory card for it to be used. I pressed Cancel and now basically my memory card isnt recognised/being used. Is there a way around this without formatting? I backed up all my saves so it's not a disaster, I just don't really feel like going through the hassle of re-downloading a load of stuff. Quaedam_Animae
You pretty much have to reformat now. You should never turn off the Vita when it's updating which the Vita clearly says on the screen. Put it in Sleep Mode instead next time.
NotAFoxAnymore
You pretty much have to reformat now. You should never turn off the Vita when it's updating which the Vita clearly says on the screen. Put it in Sleep Mode instead next time. It wasn't updating anymore, there was no storage left on the memory card. EDIT: Oh...so I just unlocked it again and got a prompt that I need to restart my Vita. I do it and all my apps and everything have reappeared o.o it seems the issue has solved itself.
