Last part - Renaissance - Save not possible

Hello everone,

I finally made it to the last Mission "Renaissance" and stole the henchman's key. I moved past the trolls, opened the door. I saved the game. Then I pulled the lever - and from that point on (before getting into the cocoon), the "Save game" Option is grey.

The farthest I got so far was climbing next to some chains, fumbled - and then fell too far down.... - and started again at the lever mentioned above.

It's somewhat annoying, playing seemingly without auto save and without manual save.

 

I asked myself: is that normal? Will that change before the final battle? Or do I have to move through the rest of it with a flawless run?​

Your game just got stuck with it disabled as when I completed the Xbox One version the save option was disabled during the cocoon part but was available again shortly afterwards, no later than running back up the stairs to where you pulled the lever.

Thank you, that gives me some hope; the worst that could happen would then be that if it doesn't get "unstuck" I'd use an earlier Save Game.
