But the company being small is why they would want to keep their employees busy doing useful things as much as they can.

If you don't want to give them more money before they can show you a game that you'd pay money for, I totally get it.

 

That doesn't mean they shouldn't be working on a second game already, especially if this would reduce the costs.

 

I think the reason they are doing all these games at the same time is that they want to do all these games and they need more money right now to finish up the first one. Once the first game gets released, they will probably see a more stable income, and might not want to ask for as much money anymore, or so I think.

 

I've not invested in any of their projects.

I definitely agree. I do think this game is going to do fairly well for them. Especially for the fact that this is the spritual successor to mega man. If this is a good game then i'll probably pick it up. Digimon and megadimension are priorities though.
