How do I get my Black Agumon to Level 16?

I presume LV 16 is what's required to get Greymon, but Agumon's max level is 15. How do I raise his level? Is it to do with Cam or de digivolving?

You have two options that i tried out of experience:

 

1. De-digivolve him back into the "baby/training" form to increase the LV cap. This does not work for Black Agumeon (or for me, at least), take the second one.

 

2. Or, take another easier digivolve route to increase the LV cap. Then, de-digivolve into Black Agumeon to raise the cap yet again.

The max level of the Digimon is modified by the ABI. There are 2 ways of getting a higher ABI, there's an Excellent Meat that you can use in the DigiFarm to improve it by 20 and getting some CAM, but the item is rare and it's only recommended to use in some cases. Ther other is to de-Digievolves with max level. The closest to MAX level the Digimon is the more ABI it will get, this also applies when it Digievolves to a higher class.

I performed the Digivolve then De Digivolve method and it's worked nicely.
