Popular Post AffectatiousDonk
Cj's Game of Shame Hello, welcome and thanks for leaving your sense of shame and standards at the door. It's time to step out of the dark and proudly flaunt the cringe worthy, low grade, easy and just downright ridiculous games you have secretly been yearning to embark on. In conjunction with C2 Invitational League I have decided to work through some real gems of the PS3/PS4 library and openly flaunt my journey to my fellow competitors as they jealously watch from the sidelines as I weekly step to new lows in search of the platinums. So come join with me, What you need to know Is there a prize : The prize is the journey, a few laughs ..... ohh and a shiny new platinum at the end of every adventure What is considered a Game of Shame : Simply whatever you think would cause ridicule from a "purist trophy hunter ". Of course the more absurd the better goes without saying. Oh and it must have a platinum trophy. So are there any requirements : Why of course. The only requirement is you write a short summary of your thoughts before you start the game, and then a quick wrap when you finish. Artistic licence is encouraged and deviation from the truth for a laugh is of course encouraged. As I have been at it I will lead the way with my 2 completed games and my current project. Looking forward to journey the ahead, don't forget to join in. CJ Cj's List of Shame Puss in Boots (Pregame) This delightful 2012 title from Dream Works Animation is the third instalment in the series following Puss on the Street Corner and the somewhat risqué title Payin 4 Puss (now only available on the Bangkok PSN Store). This is the definitive game for anyone who enjoys pussy. Playstation move support ensures you will always have one free hand to " Slash .... Pounce and Charm " on your personal controller as you navigate any tight spots on your journey with Puss. Coming (yes with an o you sick muppet) in at around 6 hrs and with 40 trophies this is perhaps the best " bang " you will get for your buck this year Weekly Game of Shame Wrap : Puss in Boots (Plat #30) Cue the spanish guitar, pour a glass of Jose Cuervo and light up the cigar because your about to have one one heck of a fun time smashing cat chasers and goons, dodging barrels and uncovering a vast array of death dealing traps. Throw in a few collectibles, a story with as much depth as a kiddy pool and a soundtrack of two songs on loop and your ready to let the good times roll. Plenty of time to play with your pussy or to even serenade some of the increasingly wild and scruffy pussy's that you encounter in the game with your lothario styled guitar chords. All measured with a climax meter that will leave you spent and on your knees. Definite highlight was the inclusion of a " dance off " fingers flurrying QTE extravaganza that will leave you questioning why every game doesn't include one. Do yourself a favour and get your Puss on, you won't regret it. Weekly Game of Shame 20/3 - Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs (Pre game) From the developers that have never bought you a bad game, prepare to climb towers, decipher a skill tree more obscure than a cryptic crossward, and slowly find your way in a strange new world while being abused in a hybrid " Engrish " language by a headless NPC. Ubisoft's 2009 gem from the Shanghai studio, " Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs " a game notoriously named using an euphemism for explosive diarrhea ticks all the boxes, it's a game, has 26 trophies and 6 hour completion. Guaranteed to combine the core gaming requirements, humour, WTF moments and a free colonic irrigation with every platinum what more could you want. Stayed tuned as I clean up the trophies while cleaning out myself ......... Weekly Game of Shame Wrap : Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs (Plat #32) Mmmmm ......... well ........... so ok then, for a game that held such an interesting assortment of characters a rather disappointing romp through a culinary nightmare that would leave Gordon Ramsey escorted from the building in a straight jacket spraying " you filthy filthy farken c**nts " and Jamie Oliver crying in the corner. Don't get me wrong there were moments of surrealism as main character Flint Lockwood (part time inventor / part time porn star ) and trusted side kick " Steve (hands off your) Monkey " (yes a real talking monkey - well at least when he didn't have his hands full carrying Flint's package) undertook a journey to ..... well who really knows where. Along the way you can engage in all the age old lubricants - butter, oil and chilli / guacamole ( for the more adventurous ) as you poke prod, melt or stab foodpods that range from out in the open obvious to hidden so far off screen you would only stumble across them drunk. But don't get me wrong definitely worthy of your time and its guaranteed amnesia inducing plot will leave you exactly where you started. Weekly Game of Shame 27/3 - Terminator Salvation (Pregame) It's not often you get to play a game so rich in plot, character development, voice acting, level design, music score, combat and AI development that it is consistently rated as one of the highest rental revenue games for the PS3/ Xbox 360. This is a game that reaches the pinnacle, a mammoth achievement above any thought or bronze or silver trophies. Coming in with 11 Gold trophies and a Platinum, a feat unheard of in modern gaming, I feel lucky to embark on this title and reap the rewards it will bring. Look forward to bringing my wrap later in this week. Edited March 27, 2016 by cjshaitan
DetectiveCJ
I would have participated in this but the game I had planned for my Game of Shame (XBLAZE LOST: MEMORIES) was already platinumed when I heard about this.
