Need help with this headset?

So basically i use the Powerbeats 2 Wireless in red/black from beats for gym and listening to music on the go. I've been playing ps3 for a while and i get fed up of the fact that i ain't able to talk to people on zombies or even multiplayer while playing cod etc. So basically i wanted to ask if you could use these inear headphones as a headset for ps3? i've connected it before etc but it didn't really work... maybe because i don't know how to connect it properly :/

If you're using the PS3 bluetooth, you need to put it in pairing mode by holding down the power button until it flashes red and green alternatively. Once the ps3 has detected it, it will ask for a passcode to register the device, by default most bluetooth codes are 0000.

If you still can't hear or talk to people, go to the settings section of the XMB and go to Accessory settings and then select Audio Device settings. Make sure both the input and output device are set to your registered headset.
