Resistance collection for PS3

These days it seems to be all the rage to take a few games from a franchise (or in some cases all the games) and package them together, give them an HD upgrade and release them for the current gen consoles.

This Examiner isn't complaining, it's nice to see the games of yesterday getting an upgrade and pushed out for the younger gamers. The next franchise to do this, is the "Resistance" franchise.

Now if you remember back in April, this Examiner reported that the "Resistance" franchise was getting a trilogy package and it was supposed to be released back in May. For whatever reason, the package didn't make drop that month. Sony didn't comment on the delay either, so it could have been that the game wasn't coming out that month.

Sony and Insomniac, the guys behind "Resistance" have officially announced the "Resistance Collection" for the Playstation 3. The package will come with "Resistance: Fall of Man", "Resistance 2", and "Resistance 3". The collection will also come packed with the DLC for "Resistance 2" and "Resistance 3".

The package will be priced at $39.99. Also the package is specifically coming with the Aftermath Pack and skin bundle for "Resistance 2" and "Resistance 3" along with the Brutality and Survival pack for "Resistance 3".

There's no set release date for the package, but the Playstation Blog is saying all the info you want will be available "in the coming weeks".

This will drop to 30 quick I think. I do like the consistand packaging all of these are getting though
