I know you can only hold 1 on you at a time Just to add on, you can hold one siva offering in your vault and they do not go to the postmaster if you fail to grab them in the world. You can also just hang out in the Archon's Forge area for other people to bring their offerings. I received a decent amount of gear slightly higher than my current light level, so it's a worthwhile place to spend time if there are active events going on.
