Latikos
You only need to sync the trophies when you're online with your Ps3. As for the backup: I simply used what the ps3 offers: I plugged in an external hard drive via USB, then Settings --> System Settings --> Backup Utility --> Backup
broy300
Just my opinion as I have done this twice (from a 40 Gb to a 320 Gb, then a 320 Gb to 1Tb) -Buy PS+ for 3 months and backup all your save data -Forget about backing up your game saves, reinstall games and updates after the HDD swap - Backup your Movies, that is all This will make the swap extremely fast, painless and easy. Both times I did a complete backup and it did not work well. The 320 Gb to 1 Tb froze at 15 hours and I ended up deleting much of the transferred data. -Just synch your trophies, Like Latikos said, you can't back them up any other way This is just my opinion if you want to do it quickly and easily.
