Blacksmithing questions

So I talked with Liz and asked her to upgrade my equipment where I find some interesting things about Hollow Realzation's blacksmithing system. You can upgrade armor now? And Liz's blacksmithing skills increased with each successful smithing, right? Will a higher blacksmithing skill mean a much successful chance at upgrading armor and weapons? And can I make my starting armor more powerful than before with each successful smithing?

Yea. And higher chance of applying skill from her skillpool.

You can, but it's a waste of ores since you eventually get armors that will be more powerful than max upgraded base armor on default state.
