Missing save file.

 So was running thru this on legendary, iron man enabled.  And game crashes. No biggie.  Crashed bout 5 times on the assult on the avenger when one of the chosen got max intel ( easy fight lol same as when ufo shoots ya down)

 

 So after the last crash not thinking much about it.

 

Reset game to find my 40+ hour near finnished legendary/iron man file was gone.

 

 Apparently this is a common issue ( acording to steam an redit)

 

 Just a heads up. Keep a back up of your saves for sure.

The most recent patch (1.06) is meant to have addressed this issue.

Ouch man! Ya "only" is about 15 missions or so.. Still!

 

 I would strongly recomend uploading global save to the cloud to avoid this in the future.

Just to add, crashes still delete your save. After losing like 7 hours of progress, I now backup every 1-2 missions. PS+ is a must if you're doing ironman.

 I lost ps+ for a while

Cont. To play w.o a back up was doing good

Then got into a mission w 2 sectoid things ( big ass mech robot w 40hp)

 

 Wrecked everyone only managed to evac 1 support
