I got around it by making the weapon or vehicle as soon as I picked up the blueprint or as soon as the next case started if it was an end of case reward. Don't forget, you also have to make one of each type of Santa Trap & the Elemental Grenades (fire, ice & acid) to count as making one of every weapon. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To get the trophy for 58 unique combo weapons, aswell as needing to make all types of the elemental grenades & santa traps I mentioned in my previous post, you also need to make some of the gold weapons whose blueprints you earn in the multiplayer. I actually got the 58 unique trophy earlier when I crafted a Gold Laser Sword after getting it's blueprint. Side note, multiplayer & single player share the same save & trials so anything you make in one counts for both.
