Better Equipped and Zoologist Requirements

What exactly do you have to do for these two trophies? What are the pieces of equipment? The critters? Thanks!

I got the equipment trophy by buying a pouch from one of the merchants (the ones that increase ammo capacity) so 3 pouches should pop the trophy. You need a special skill to collect critters, I believe it's one of the blue ones? Then you can start picking up tiny bugs, I usually dont even notice them until the prompt appears.
