Food Sides Confusion

In regards to the sides of the food you need to prepare on the triangle stations, there's one food in particular I don't quite get.  The pretzels are annoying.  I've set them up, but sometimes they don't accept it, as I want to try and prepare things ahead of time.  Annoying thing is there's two different ones and I try and set both up ahead of time, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

 

Is there an extra thing I don't know about to check the, say, pretzel orders on which ones they want? Cause the picture doesn't help for which I need to use.
